The Norwegian Church in Los Angeles/San Pedro opened in 1946. In
1951 the Church moved to its present location. Since 1952 there has
also been a Swedish staff at the Church.
Around 15,000 people visit the Church every year. We offer
different activities, e.g. lunches, family events , Swedish
gatherings and the traditional rice porridge on Saturdays.
The Norwegian Church Los Angeles/San Pedro is part of The
Norwegian Church Abroad, which has 45 branches around the world. We
represent the Church of Norway and perform baptisms, confirmations,
weddings and funerals.
At the Church in San Pedro you will also find a store with a
large selection of Scandinavian food and gift items.
