Curtis Day is a composer studying at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and writes concert music but also music for media. He is highly interested in Norwegian music, especially the folk music and the ways in which Norwegian composers have adapted it for use in their own works. His favourite Norwegian composers are Edvard Grieg, Geirr Tveitt and Lasse Thoresen.
